FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES Singer To Serve As One Of 'Drum Fight VI' Judges

May 20, 2008

Vocalist Francis Mark of the Long Island post-hardcore act FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES will be one of the guest judges at the Drum Fight VI on June 8 at the Crazy Donkey (Club Loaded) in Farmingdale, New York. A flyer for the event can be found at this location.

In other news, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES's Jeff Gretz is accepting a limited number of drum students in the New York City area. He is currently offering a limited number of slots for Saturday mornings in Williamsburg (literally seconds off the BQE). These are for weekly slots. One-off lessons are also available and Jeff wil even come to your house. These are a little pricier but you don't even have to leave your home. Whatever you want to learn speed, endurance, double-bass, reading music, rudiments, etc. E-mail [email protected] for more info/prices.

On January 8, 2008, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES performed a benefit show at Looney Tunes record store in its hometown area of Long Island, New York and recorded the concert for fans that attended the performance. Now the disc, entitled "Live At Looney Tunes", will get a wide release on June 17 through Vagrant.

The 10-track disc features songs from the band's entire catalog, including its latest, "Holding A Wolf By The Ears".
